About this role

As Group Creative Director, Art, you are a strong creative voice of the agency, holistically leading large teams to creative excellence, account growth, project delivery, and talent development. You are a master storyteller, knowing what sells, showing what delights, and flexing creative limits with ideas that scare and enthrall. You make the complex simple, the digital human, and the work the best it can be.

You are a driving force, maintaining momentum by proactively directing and inspiring your team to achieve and succeed. Optically and mentally present, you solve problems and overcome challenges with poise and confidence. You advocate for your client, your team, and the agency.

You partner with other disciplines to arrive at great insights and build amazing digital solutions, effectively communicating creative ideas to all stakeholders. You pitch to high-profile senior clients, understanding their motivations, and integrate with partner agencies. You oversee execution to get work live, ensuring creative excellence.

You provide regular team mentorship and constructive feedback, developing creative department staffing strategies including skills, training, and mentorship. New hires are set up for long-term success with a minimum of 3 days a week in office. Base salaries are determined during interview by assessing experience, skills, and markets.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience as creative director or creative lead in agency environment including brainstorming, creative brief development, campaign development, and creative execution
  • Exceptional writing skills including ability to write in range of voices, styles, and formats
  • Love for digital including social, web, metaverse, AI, gaming
  • Understanding of full breadth of digital platforms and solutions and how to steer creative outcomes across ecosystem
  • Deep knowledge of digital user experiences and how to innovate within UX and UI
  • Drive to stay on top of cultural trends, technology developments, and audience insights
  • Desire to bring team up, leading by example as natural mentor with empathy and inspiration
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
