The VP, Group Creative Director (GCD) is an established Creative leader driving creative across multiple brands, audiences, and therapeutic categories with approximately $20MM+ in revenue. This role advances strategic, high-concept campaigns in every medium while navigating launches and medical-legal hurdles.
Day-to-day involves creating and reviewing creative briefs for on-strategy, brand-building work, looping in the ECD for support. Present compelling original ideas confidently with strategic rationale and insight. Collaborate closely with Strategy, AM, and PM to manage client needs and brand objectives.
Bring in ECD/CCO and Executive Craft Director at key milestones like briefs, tissues, and production decisions. Ensure agency counterparts understand processes for original campaign creative versus derivative work. Include TheWrks in scopes for concepting and Integrated Production.

Requirements
- Established Creative leader in the industry
- Proven trusted leader able to elevate creative work at every turn
- Extensive industry experience with launches, label updates, and medical-legal navigation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting ideas
- Expert at providing strategic rationale and insight for creative
- Experience managing creative groups across therapeutic categories
- Ability to handle original campaign creative versus derivative work
- Art direction focus with high-concept deliverables in every medium
Responsibilities
- Drive creative output and business fundamentals for group managing approximately $20MM+ in revenue
- Inspire and manage team of Creative professionals across multiple brands, audiences, and therapeutic categories
- Create and/or review creative briefs ensuring strong blueprint for on-strategy, brand-building creative
- Present compelling, original creative ideas confidently and clearly with strategic rationale
- Bring in ECD/CCO and Executive Craft Director at key milestones including briefs, tissues, and production
- Collaborate closely with Strategy, AM, and PM to manage client needs and brand objectives
- Ensure TheWrks is written into scopes for concepting and Integrated Production
- Advance high-concept campaigns including launches, label updates, and navigating medical-legal hurdles
