The Media Manager (Omnichannel Media Planner) will plan, negotiate, and execute omnichannel performance media strategies within the Omnichannel Media Team. This role involves managing daily planning, analysis, and relationships with internal teams, publishers, and partner agencies.
Assist in developing and executing omnichannel media strategies for Fortune 500 clients like AstraZeneca, Ford, and Microsoft. Manage campaign authorizations, budgets, and reconciliations while acting as a liaison between media and account teams. Ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met through proactive coordination.
Interact daily with media publishers, analyze research data for media recommendations, and monitor campaign performance. Track media spend against client budgets, alerting teams to discrepancies. Participate in client discussions on strategy, recommendations, and performance within VML's global network of 26,000 across 55+ markets.

Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Keen attention to detail with strong mathematical and Microsoft Excel skills; able to identify and understand anomalies in large data sets
- Knowledge of and competence in media buying software, MediaOcean/Prisma preferred
- Able to build relationships across internal teams and departments, and external vendors and clients
- Proactive approach demonstrated by providing regular project timeline and budget updates to team/manager
- Experience analyzing performance media data across omnichannel platforms
- Familiarity with omnichannel planning including digital, social, and traditional channels
Responsibilities
