The Senior Media Planner develops and executes strategic, data-driven media plans across pharmaceutical (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) brands. This role bridges regulated and consumer marketing with omnichannel strategies engaging healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers.
Daily work involves developing integrated media strategies aligned to brand objectives for HCP and DTC audiences. Translate marketing goals into comprehensive plans spanning digital, social, search, programmatic, endemic, print, and point-of-care channels. Partner with strategy, analytics, and creative teams for audience-first, insight-driven recommendations.
Conduct audience segmentation, competitive analyses, and channel performance reviews to inform planning. Oversee campaign implementation ensuring compliance and operational excellence while managing budgets and KPIs. Collaborate across account, regulatory, creative teams, and media partners for alignment and best practices.
Serve as day-to-day client contact providing strategic thought leadership and performance reports. Stay current on emerging media trends and innovations in regulated and consumer health landscapes. Mentor junior team members while delivering measurable impact and brand growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication
- Strong analytical thinking with deep understanding of audience behavior
- Expertise in media performance evaluation and compliance requirements
- Experience crafting omnichannel strategies for HCP, patients, and consumers
- Proficiency across digital, social, search, programmatic, and point-of-care channels
- Knowledge of regulated pharmaceutical (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) marketing
- Familiarity with MLR guidelines and healthcare advertising best practices

- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and quality assurance on deliverables
