About this role
We are looking for a conceptually strong, visually talented, and hands-on Senior Art Director, Concept. You develop creative ideas, shape them, and see them through to final implementation. Native-level German is essential, with strong skills in Adobe programs, video editing, motion graphics, and digital content formats.
You think in terms of ideas, stories, and formats, with a keen sense for strong visual communication. Develop strong, surprising, brand-relevant ideas and campaigns with compelling visual worlds for national and international clients. Conceptualize social-first campaigns, content formats, and always-on communication in still and motion.
Respond quickly to current trends, cultural moments, and platform mechanics. Confidently edit video content, collaborating on editing, pacing, storytelling, and motion elements. Work closely with Strategy, Copy, Production, and Client Services, presenting ideas to clients and participating in pitches.
Learn new AI techniques, drive their adoption, and use them in creative work. Enjoy short decision-making processes in a collaborative team with high creative impact. Gain end-to-end ownership from first idea to final asset, plus training for professional growth.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as an Art Director, Concept Creative, or comparable creative role in agency or in-house
- Exceptional skills in concept development, visual ideation, and storytelling
- Proficient in digital formats, social media content, and modern campaign mechanics
- Experience in video editing, motion graphics, or content production
- Excellent sense of design, visual language, typography, and narrative structure
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
- Experience with common AI models and platforms, with willingness to deepen knowledge
- Native-level German
Responsibilities
- Develop strong, surprising, and brand-relevant ideas, concepts, and campaigns with compelling visual worlds
- Conceptualize and visually develop social-first campaigns, content formats, and always-on communication (still and motion)
- Respond quickly, creatively, and appropriately to current trends, cultural moments, and platform mechanics
- Edit video content confidently and collaborate on editing, pacing, storytelling, and motion elements
- Provide visual support for campaigns across touchpoints from social to OOH, digital, and moving images
- Collaborate closely with Strategy, Copy, Production, and Account Management
- Present creative ideas to clients and participate in workshops, pitches, and presentations
- Learn new AI techniques, drive their adoption, and use them in creative work while mentoring colleagues
