About this role

As an Associate Media Planner, you dive into media trafficking, reporting, and implementation, hitting the ground running with Media team support. Guided by your Media Director, break into the digital media landscape, learning current trends and collaboration between media syndication and creative development. Bring passion for Media and enthusiasm for campaign insights.

Work across all areas of the Media process, getting hands dirty while learning from the robust Critical Mass team. Support administrative needs by briefing on client files, campaign contracts, and conducting research. Coordinate management, trafficking, optimization, and reporting of campaign initiatives daily.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, billing, and Managers on multi-channel plans including digital display, paid social, video, search, and traditional media. Build relationships in the display and emerging media community. Participate in new business efforts as needed by team leads.

Stay up to date on interactive marketing trends, sharing with Marketing and Media groups. Research for paid media plans, RFPs, and presentations. Expect office presence minimum 2 days a week for long-term success with the team.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with and passion for digital media
  • Analytical mindset
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
  • Ability to work effectively under stressful situations and time constraints
  • Good project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the management, trafficking, optimization, and reporting of all campaign initiatives
  • Assist in the development and execution of multi-channel media plans, including digital display, paid social, video, search, and traditional media
  • Work closely with the billing team to ensure prompt payments
  • Manage media campaign set-up and execution, including working with internal teams and clients to secure deliverables
  • Support Marketing and Media Managers in reporting templates, management and presentations to clients
  • Pull and deliver accurate data in initial analyses
  • Research and prepare new information for paid media plans, RFPs, and presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships in the display and emerging media community
