About this role
SHADOW is currently seeking a candidate to fill the Account Manager role in its Beauty Division. The ideal candidate is a skilled and effective leader, with 6+ years running PR and communications activities from a supervisory perspective. They must have extensive knowledge of the Beauty industry and awareness of SHADOW’s clients in the space.
As the first point of contact for clients, you serve as both the mouthpiece and the ear for your teams, absorbing praise and criticism while filtering it into actionable steps. You effectively manage the daily workflow of three to six accounts simultaneously, driving consistent media results and setting account priorities. Thoughtfully review your team’s work to develop talent underneath you.
Excel as a leader and team player, supervising, mentoring, and inspiring reports while creating cross-functional, tight-knit teams. Leverage established industry connections with media, influencers, and potential partners. Maintain composure under pressure, meeting tight deadlines across multiple projects.
Manage high-level media relationships, identify strategic opportunities, and provide counsel to clients. Act as a creative lead, generating breakthrough ideas and concepts for your clients and the agency-wide portfolio. Responsibilities may shift and evolve with company and client needs.
Requirements
- Excellent management skills: leader and team player who supervises, mentors, and inspires reports while creating cross-functional teams
- Established industry connections with media, influencers, and potential industry partners
- Track record of breakthrough campaigns, activations, and placements personally led that impacted clients
- Savviness with industry trends, media landscape, pop culture, and social media to advise clients
- Composure to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
