Provide service support by attending internal and client meetings, meeting deadlines, troubleshooting, drafting status reports, and responding timely. Write, edit, and proofread materials like press releases, strategy memos, blog posts, web content, videos, and ads. Collaborate with integrated teams to develop effective advertising and communication strategies.
Track account news, execute media relations, coordinate events, analyze metrics, and facilitate billing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. GMMB offers a hybrid schedule with at least three days in office in Washington, DC. Work with clients committed to change every day, not just election day.

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- 1 - 2 years of experience managing projects and/or clients in communications, public relations, journalism, public policy, advertising or a related field
- Proven success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- An interest in global health and development issues, gender equality, social justice, food/nutrition systems, and/or international health
Responsibilities
- Provide service support by attending internal and client meetings and Teams calls, meeting deadlines, troubleshooting problems, drafting and updating status reports, and responding to requests in a timely manner
- Write, edit and proofread written materials and creative collateral including press materials, strategy memorandums, blog posts, web pages, videos, advertising elements and correspondence
- Collaborate with an integrated communications team to understand client goals and develop relevant and effective advertising and communication strategies
- Track, analyze and report on account-related news, coverage, research and online conversation
- Execute media relations efforts including media list development and pitching, and develop relationships with journalists, reporters and bloggers
- Assist in coordinating media, client and agency events, including securing venues, developing collateral materials, and handling logistics like media placement and webcasting
- Analyze campaign metrics and implement public engagement and social media tools
- Contribute to and implement media strategies as directed by senior staff and facilitate account billing
