About this role
As Group Creative Director, manage, guide, and create the communication layer of a brand’s vision. This leadership role holds accountability for the health of managed brands and the agency at large. Inspire creativity and strategic thinking across teams while fostering curiosity and experimentation.
Align client needs with the agency’s model through deep involvement in pitching and presenting department capabilities. Oversee the entire creative team with a smaller subset of direct reports. Partner with peers like another GCD, Head of Design, or Head of Strategy to drive creative direction.
Serve as creative steward by working with internal brand and strategy teams to set tone and vision. Monitor and spot-check all creative work before it reaches clients. Lead hiring for Art and Copy candidates while overseeing mentoring and talent growth.
Storytell ideas with clarity for clients, internal teams, and creatives, providing final presentation touches. Present directly to clients to build relationships and trust. Influence creative thinking across the business and lead concept development as a maker.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage and guide creative teams in agency settings
- Expertise in creating brand communication visions and strategies
- Strong client-facing skills for pitching, presenting, and relationship building
- Proficiency aligning client needs with agency model and capabilities
- Experience inspiring creativity, strategic thinking, and curiosity in teams

- Hands-on concept development across design and creative work
