We're seeking a Group Account Director to lead high-profile client partnerships and provide senior leadership within the Melbourne Client Management team. This people-first role holds end-to-end accountability for managing key accounts and driving performance.

Lead senior client relationships across a portfolio of key accounts, acting as a confident trusted advisor providing counsel, challenge and direction. Build long-term partnerships grounded in trust, clarity and commercial value. Oversee integrated campaigns and sponsorship activations, ensuring delivery on brief, on time and on budget.

Contribute to strategy, sponsorship thinking and campaign development alongside internal teams across creative, production, events and insights. Guide teams to deliver work that is strategically sound, creatively strong and well-executed. Maintain strong standards of quality control and follow-through in day-to-day delivery.

Lead, coach and develop your team with clear direction, regular feedback and decisive guidance. Manage scopes, forecasting and commercial performance to ensure work is appropriately scoped, resourced and profitable. Shape how Gemba continues to partner with brands in sport and entertainment, contributing to account growth and new business.

Requirements

  • Experience leading high-profile client partnerships in sport and entertainment
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships at the highest client levels
  • Strong strategic thinking in sponsorships, campaigns and creative development
  • Track record overseeing integrated campaign delivery on time and budget
  • Leadership in coaching teams through ambiguity and high-pressure delivery
  • Insightful perspective on briefs, creative ideas and fan behaviour
  • Commercial acumen in account growth, scoping and profitability
