The Communications Planner plays a vital role in the client-facing team, managing the full campaign lifecycle from briefs to media plans across online and offline channels, activation, and post-campaign analysis. Join the vibrant integrated planning team coordinating activity for Premier Inn, Honda, and Emirates accounts. Deliver innovative media plans with autonomy to develop cross-channel skills.

Work closely with the wider Comms team, internal data specialists, clients, and media owners to build excellent relationships. Collaborate with Strategy and Specialist teams to turn thinking into implementation. UM EMEA Headquarters in London provides integrated media services fueled by local insights and regional expertise.

Get involved in broader agency culture and build UM's reputation in the industry. Leverage in-house tools, data-driven analytics, and specialists in brand strategy, research, and content creation. Optimize clients’ advertising investment across markets with tailored regional solutions.

Requirements

  • Excellent people skills for building relationships with clients, media owners, and teams
  • Confidence in planning campaigns across online and offline channels
  • Strong understanding of reporting and measurement requirements
  • Ability to develop cross-channel planning skills
  • Familiarity with tools like DDS and Addynamix for competitor analysis
  • Numerical accuracy in handling campaign reporting and financial processes
  • Ambition to engage in agency culture and industry reputation building

Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day management of client relationships, earning trust and respect
  • Collaborate closely with media partners to align performance against client expectations
  • Input into development and management of the Client Executive
  • Work seamlessly with Strategy and Specialist teams to ensure brilliant implementation
  • Produce competitor reports using DDS and Addynamix
  • Ensure numerical accuracy in campaign reporting, analysis, and financial processes
  • Support Communications Manager and Director in implementing processes for activity management
  • Track value and quality deliveries with attendance at reviews
