About this role
As Group Media Director, lead strategic media planning and execution to drive business performance while building strong client relationships across the organization. Set media objectives, manage client relationships, and oversee campaign execution across DSPs, Google, META, and TTD. Guide and mentor your team using data insights to optimize performance and deliver innovative solutions.
Drive thought leadership and shape strategic media strategies for a new B2B client, acting as the client lead. Partner with clients to address media landscape changes, collaborating with stakeholders and agency teams on print, search, social, display, programmatic video, print, and TV tactics. Focus on performance-driven strategies for all campaigns.
Maintain deep understanding of the client’s business, leading account strategy including annual budget planning, KPIs, and partner selection. Oversee media execution, ensuring timely delivery, buy negotiations, and performance reporting. Coordinate larger business reviews like QBRs with actionable insights.
Manage and mentor team development, fostering skills and career growth. Demonstrate initiative by exploring new media solutions with strategic thinking and creativity. Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend innovative tactics and optimize multi-million-dollar budgets.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in media planning and investment, focusing on performance, mid-to-upper funnel, Search, Social, and Programmatic
- At least 5 years of management experience
- Proven ability to integrate media, creative, and brand objectives with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing client relationships, ensuring alignment and timely media plan execution
- Hands-on campaign execution using data and insights to optimize performance
- Agency experience with integrated media campaigns
- Proficiency in TTD or DV360, search platforms, and media planning tools
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar media budgets for efficient allocation and ROI
