The Account & Strategy Director is a leadership role on the Client Partnership team, responsible for strategic and relationship aspects throughout the account lifecycle. This position oversees one to several client accounts, retaining at least $5MM in annual revenue, and directs 1-3 direct reports. It reports to a VP or SVP while ensuring successful partnerships supporting clients' creator marketing ambitions.

Day-to-day involves leading client relationship management, setting the tone for services success balancing staff and client perspectives. The role directs application of influencer marketing services, providing expertise and thought-leadership to senior marketers. It facilitates cross-functional collaboration for effective agency servicing across the client journey.

The Client Partnership team cultivates relationships through best-in-class work, strategic proposals, RFPs, and ongoing direction. Collectively is known for creative, strategic programs with sophisticated analysis and paid social offerings. Requirements

  • Experience leading client accounts in influencer marketing or creative agencies
  • Proven track record retaining significant client revenue in agency settings
  • Ability to translate client needs into deliverable influencer strategies and scopes
  • Leadership experience directing teams of 1-3 staff members
  • Expertise in strategic planning for creator-centric marketing programs
  • Strong client servicing skills for senior stakeholders in tech, fashion, retail, or similar
  • Knowledge of paid social offerings and sophisticated campaign analysis

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct client relationship management day-to-day and set tone for client services success
  • Direct application of influencer marketing services and solutions for senior marketers
  • Provide ongoing expertise, thought-leadership, and push clients toward broader creator marketing roles
  • Deliver strategic influencer marketing proposals and RFPs with industry-leading thought partnership
  • Oversee and direct work of Client Partnership staff across core workflows
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration and agency servicing throughout client journey
  • Build client confidence, earn trust, and lead challenging conversations diplomatically
  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for senior clients and manage conflicts strategically
