About this role
The Account Executive meets and exceeds local and national sales goals by selling outstanding inventory to qualified advertisers. Develops new business through direct customer outreach and high-level agency contacts. Presents comprehensive proposals and competitive pricing structures across digital and printed inventory.
Drives revenue attainment monthly, quarterly, and annually while prospecting new customer relationships. Persuasively communicates strategies to meet customer needs during outside sales activities. Obtains orders and contracts away from the office, including home office if applicable.
Ensures customer satisfaction by facilitating account aspects with creative, operations, marketing, and finance staff. Determines pricing based on management guidelines and negotiates fees with approval. Oversees projects from start to finish and delivers proof of performance.
Accompanies clients on market tours to showcase outdoor inventory. Communicates and coordinates with Ad Ops and internal departments. Builds long-term relationships to maximize advertising partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience preferred
- Minimum two years of sales experience or other relevant work experience preferred
- Demonstrated track record of business-to-business and progressive sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of territory preferred
- Skilled in working closely with customers to develop and cultivate client relationships
- Sales achievement with experience in consultative or needs-based selling techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications and social media platforms
- Strong competencies in account management, fostering communication, initiative, sales process management, negotiating, and networking
