The media planner role manages media planning by preparing and presenting media plans, proposals, and analyses. This position works within an integrated media planning team to ensure recommendations are based on insights and experience for flawless media executions.
Day-to-day involves preparing integrated media plans that meet client objectives and exceed briefs, monitoring plan execution, and evaluating campaign performance. Responsibilities include presenting media opportunities, trends, and client-relevant issues while overseeing budget management and financial reporting.

Requirements
- Entry-level to associate experience in media planning
- Education or professional experience in marketing and/or advertising (asset)
- Experience in an integrated advertising agency (asset)
- Strong motivation to develop and excel in a media career
- Client-oriented with curiosity and willingness for continuous learning
- Knowledge of media research tools (e.g., Clear Decisions, Vividata, Nielsen) and media tools (e.g., Prisma) (asset)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Prepare, write, and present integrated media plans, proposals, and analyses meeting client objectives and exceeding the brief
- Monitor the media plan and regularly evaluate campaign performance
- Prepare and present evaluations of media opportunities, trends, and relevant client issues
- Establish and maintain solid client relationships and respectful partner relationships with accountability, reliability, and resourcefulness
- Initiate and coordinate the media buying process to deliver exceptional results
- Supervise administration and updating of the media plan
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of client financial reports and budget control reports (BCR)
- Manage client budgets effectively and ensure compliance
