About this role

The Paid Social Account Director role sits within the Paid Social team at MG OMD and leads the strategic direction, delivery and performance of paid social activity across assigned client accounts. It works closely with clients, internal teams and media partners to deliver high quality paid social campaigns aligned to client business objectives and wider agency goals. As the senior paid social lead, it provides clear leadership and ensures integration with other paid media channels.

The role carries a strong focus on commercial delivery, operational rigour and people leadership, building confidence with clients. It emphasises leading paid social activity that unlocks competitive advantage through bespoke approaches, unprecedented insight and specialism. Daily efforts centre on high-impact campaigns that create difference that matters.

  • Experience leading paid social strategies for client accounts
  • Strong client relationship management in media agencies
  • Expertise in integrating paid social with multi-channel media plans
  • Proven track record in commercial delivery of social campaigns
  • Operational rigour in campaign management and performance tracking
  • People leadership skills for managing teams
  • Knowledge of social platform advertising tools and best practices
  • Ability to deliver bespoke, insight-driven paid social solutions
